usecos was built with privacy as a core principle — not an afterthought. We believe tools should never require your personal data, and we have designed our entire platform around that belief.
Nothing.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information. Your mortgage details, tax calculations, salary information, and VIN lookups never leave your browser.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, GDPR-compliant analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. We only see aggregated page view counts — no IP addresses, no fingerprints, no user profiles.
We do not use any cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. The only data stored in your browser is via Local Storage for your convenience (tool preferences, recent VIN lookups), which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The NHTSA API (used for VIN recall checks) receives only the 17-character VIN you enter — no cookies, no user identifiers, no IP-based tracking from our side.
Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have any questions about privacy, contact us →
