Methodology
Figures use the same shared tax data and calculation engine as the usecos paycheck calculator. The dataset includes four gross salaries: $50,000, $75,000, $100,000, and $150,000. Each row estimates annual net pay, monthly net pay, total deductions, and keep percentage.
The model includes federal and provincial/territorial tax, CPP/CPP2 and EI where applicable, and Quebec-specific payroll treatment. It excludes employer benefits, pensions, union dues, personal credits beyond the implemented basic model, and payroll withholding nuances.
Sources
Uses CRA tax brackets, CPP/CPP2 and EI maximums, plus Quebec payroll treatment where applicable. See the methodology page for source links and correction policy.
